How to measure the success of your app? - Motherapp

How to measure the success of your app?

25.02.2013

While the number of app downloads is definitely one measure of success, there are other arguably more important measures like:

User Engagement: An app with a great user experience that satisfies user’s needs will increase user engagement. It can be measured by user reviews, retention rate or simply bounce rate.

Business Success: An app is a means to an ends and eventually it needs to make your business successful. This can be measured by how it directly contributes to your bottom line or other relevant indicators such as the number of inquiries or referrals.

In other words, if you have read our post on AARRR model, download is the first “A”, user engagement is the first “R” and business success is the last “R”.
